Why Choose Our Recording and Mixing Classes
Learn from Industry Professionals
When choosing a recording and mixing class, it is crucial to learn from industry professionals who have practical knowledge and experience. Look for instructors who have worked in reputable studios or with well-known artists. Their industry experience will be invaluable to your education. Additionally, research their achievements, such as awards won, successful albums released, or recognition from industry organizations. This demonstrates their skill and credibility. Assess their educational qualifications as well, ensuring that the staff members hold relevant degrees or certifications in music production or audio engineering.
Hands-on Experience with State-of-the-Art Equipment
There will be hands-on training as well. The task that really allows them to gain confidence in their skills is this hands-on portion. Utilizing multi-track audio files, they will have the opportunity to use analog and digital mixers to create mixes and be critiqued during the process. Also offered is an advanced class that will expand on the above topics and also include more training using digital equipment.
The classes are offered on a Friday night and Saturday schedule. The basics class is offered by itself Friday night (6-9:30) with an optional hands-on experience from 9:30-10. On Saturday, the basics class is fast-paced, focused on learning, yet with a few laughs along the way. Come join the thousands of trained JerichoAV grads who have found a renewed passion for technical excellence. You’ll return home understanding not only HOW to improve your church’s sound, but WHY you are taking each step. Plus you’ll have a great time learning alongside fellow believers!
